๐ Celebrating Success at the INSPORT Closing Conference ๐
๐ The dissemination event at the Closing Conference was a resounding success, with volunteers and young individuals from the project communities in attendance, alongside numerous young Craiova residents interested in the project and how they can become European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers.
๐ Each group of volunteers presented their activities and achievements, exchanged experiences, and added a unique touch to the event under the motto “We did it!” ๐ช
โ๏ธ INSPORT is a project funded through the European Commission’s High Priority Volunteering Teams program, carried out for 40 days in Filiasi, Calafat, Bechet, and Bals.
โ๏ธ The activities carried out in the communities included:
A1. Mapping the human and logistical resources of the communities (sports fields, parks, community support individuals, non-formal spaces with youth work potential).
A2. Raising community awareness about the importance of sports activities for children and youth through local public activities and information sessions.
A3. Raising community awareness about the needs of youth with limited opportunities and the benefits of social inclusion.
A4. Developing a curriculum of sports activities for social inclusion aimed at youth and children in communities with limited infrastructure and opportunities, as well as piloting these methods during mobility activities.
A5. Organizing a final event in each community, with the participation of relevant stakeholders from the community, to analyze the project’s impact.
The INSPORT project has not only created positive changes in the communities of Filiasi, Calafat, Bechet, and Bals but has also inspired young individuals to engage in volunteering and make a difference. Together, we are forging a brighter future through the power of sports and community involvement.
