Within the project, the partners realized a marathon of events promoting the project and launching the call for the selection of volunteers. Each of the partners gathered groups of young people and relevant local stakeholders with whom they discussed the project and its context as well as the global situation of the need for sports activities for disadvantaged groups and not only, especially in the post-pandemic context. They all enjoyed an open reception in their communities of the project idea and the consortium initiative
Conclusions drawn from the debates:
* The potential of physical education and games as means of developing social, ethical and moral skills, is a desire recognized by several European institutions in support of the social inclusion of young people and children from disadvantaged backgrounds, deprived of access to opportunities
* Children and young people from small communities, with little access to opportunities intended for them, are among the most vulnerable and for them the constructive use of free time represents a pressing need.
* Thus, numerous studies show that a substantial number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have discovered new horizons following sports education and personal education programs, overcoming their initial conditions
